NZ QUIZ CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2025 New Zealand Pub Quiz Championship, our celebration of a quarter of a century, saw Shaun Wallace from The Chase captaining a team of hopefuls, aptly named Shaun and his Destroyers. They were right in the mix until round 6, when a five saw them drop down the table, eventually finishing seventh equal.
Eddie's Back from Wellington defended their 2014 title by two points, over A Pikachu Ate My Dingo from Auckland's Morningside Tavern.
Shaun had a great time, handing out Olympic style gold, silver and bronze medals he had specially made to the first three placed teams, and staying to have a tonne of selfies afterwards.
Next year will bring some changes with our new techdeck in play, including regional qualifiers - so look out for that!
